GRB 071025: Kuiper Telescope Optical Observations
Milne & Williams

The 1.54m Kuiper telescope began observations of the error region of GRB 071025 (Swift trigger 295301, Pagani et al. GCN 6986) at 04:37:08 UT, approximately 28 minutes after the trigger. Observations were obtained in the V, R, and I-bands. The afterglow first reported by Rykoff et al. (GCN 6987) is clearly visible in the individual early R and I band images but not in the V-band images or...Full Text

The 1.54m Kuiper telescope began R and V-band observations of the error region of GRB 070419A (Swift trigger 276205) at 10:26:37 UT, 27 minutes after the burst. The OT detected by Chornock et al. (GCN 6304) and observed by Cenko et al., Urata et al., Rol et al., Smith et al., Updike et al., Wren et al., Williams et al., Yoshida et al., Swan et al. (GCN 6306/GCN 6322, GCN 6308/GCN 6311...Full Text

We observed the field of GRB 060512 starting at UT=05:48 (~6.6 hrs after the burst), with the 1.54m Kuiper telescope at Mt. Bigelow, AZ. We obtained 5 x 300-sec images in the R-band filter. The mean epoch of observations was 05:59 13 May 2006. Observing conditions were affected by thin clouds in addition to the bright moon. We detect the candidate optical counterpart reported by Cummings...Full Text

We observed the field of GRB 051221B (SWIFT-BAT trigger 173904) on Dec. 21, 2005, starting at UT=02:35:53 (06:32:33 after the burst) with the 61" Kuiper telescope at Mt. Bigelow, AZ. We obtained 11 x 300-sec R-band images. Observing conditions were considered good. The field was subsequently observed the next night starting at UT=01:33:50. We obtained 7 x 300 second images in the R-band...Full Text

We have observed the field of GRB 050408 over two nights with the 1.5m Kuiper telescope on Mt. Bigelow, AZ., USA. We have performed BVRI broad-band imaging and have detected a source at a position consistent with that reported by A. de Ugarte Postigo et al. (GCN 3193). ...Full Text
